DANTE BLAKELEY

The front man and voice of Nue Pourn, Dante Blakeley is a true character. Dante always knew he wanted to perform. An over-achiever both academically and on stage, Dante performed in many shows at his beloved Atlantic City High and even scored a leading roll at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino. At age 15 he became the first sophmore ever to be given the title: Drum Major. Combining music and theater came naturally.

After High School Dante scored a deal to record some dance tracks with several local dj's. Unfortunately, The music was produced but sat for years with out promotion or distribution.

He headed off to college and after four years moved to New York City. That's when things really started taking off. While he was out to dinner one night he was approached by a woman who wanted to photograph him in her clothing. Jumping at the opportunity Dante was shocked to learn that this woman was a world famous clothing designer. This would eventually lead to a deal with R & L Modeling agency.

Over the next couple years Dante would appear in Runway shows all over the world as well as several high-end print campaigns.  Dante's good looks, friendly nature and newly aquired status as an international model made him one of the most recognizable faces on the New York club scene.

Dante then went on to perform in the world famous club productions at the Sound Factory. The drama and the energy created at those shows had a major influence on Dante's performance style. Although he loved the shows, Dante felt that they were missing a live musical element that he felt he could provide.  As fate would have it, a mutual friend introduced him to Jesse Felluss who was then working on his own sound and the two decided to give it a go. After two years and a lot of hard work, Dante is poised to bring his own combination of musical theatre and club drama to the masses.
