Hailed as one of the top party DJ's in the country, the beat-making maestro of Nue Pourn is now taking on a double-life. Still rocking parties and clubs all over New York, Jesse spends his days bangin out electronic rythms in his Manhattan Studio. Whether its behind the decks or behind a keyboard, one thing is clear: He was born to make people move. But for Jesse Felluss, the road to musical success has been anything but easy.

Born and raised in Northwest Washington DC where he fell in love with all aspects of hip-hop life, Jesse was originally obsessed with the dancing side of music. When he was 14 his family moved to Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Seeking the dance beat he wasn’t getting from the new era of 90's hip-hop, he found himself at raves in and around Boston. He immedeatly became obsessed with the effect a DJ could have on such a large number of people.

A friend from high school gave him the 1995 DMC world championship video and Jesse was hooked. Not knowing anything about the artform, he studied the video non-stop and eventually taught himself how to scratch on his brothers stereo. One broken stereo and a few beatdowns later, Jesse decided he was gonna put every cent he could muster toward this.

Eventually he had a set of 1200s and a Gemeni Scratchmaster mixer. Living in Portsmouth and without any real connection to the DJ community, Jesse dove head-first into practicing the artform he loved so much. It took a while but all the hard work paid off.

After 16 years in the game, Jesse is currently a full-time New York City Club DJ and an instructor at the world famous Scratch DJ Academy. He's been paid to travel around the world several times, spend summers in the Hamptons, and party with celebrities. While he feels blessed and thankful for all life has given him, he's not ready to pat himself on the back just yet. Focused on making a name as a producer of original music, Jesse intends to take the Nue Pourn sound global and is hard at work on his next album due for release in the Spring of 2010.
